Proverbs 31:8-9
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
Fellow Christians, when we speak about the evils, injustices, etc – in our communities – we are not ‘rebels’ – we are not fighting anyone in power nor hate anyone in any office – infact, it makes me a true Christian. Iam an hypocrite, when i see wrong and i don’t speak up – rebuke or discipline.
Now, i hope many of you can attest. Times like this, don’t discriminate, churches, work places closed, etc.
My submission: For a long time, i have used my position to show dissatisfaction with some of our sectors and many of my friends think iam going so political. But i thank God, that during these times of COVID19, many of them are coming out to express their dissatisfaction with some of our leaders.
There are a lot of evil, corruption, inequalities by some of our leaders; and it is our job as Christians to speak up, because if we don’t, no one will. Christians, If we should mind about anything else but spiritual living, then that should be Heaven. But if we are still in the body, minding and correcting the politics / leadership, social, economy of our society is Godly.
